These Consignment Terms govern the relationship between Reluxify and individuals who consign items for sale through the Reluxify platform. By submitting an item to Reluxify for sale, you agree to these terms.
If you sign a separate consignment agreement with Reluxify, that agreement will take precedence where applicable.

PURPOSE
Reluxify operates an online marketplace for authenticated pre-owned luxury goods including handbags, shoes, accessories, and other designer items.
Reluxify provides services including:
- pricing assistance through its AI-powered resale assistant ("RAI")
- authentication using third-party technology including Entrupy and LegitGrails
- professional photography and product listing
- marketing and promotion through its website and social channels
- facilitation of sales to buyers
The Consignor appoints Reluxify as a non-exclusive agent to market and sell the Consigned Items.
Ownership of the Consigned Items remains with the Consignor until the item is sold to a buyer. Upon completion of a sale, title transfers directly from the Consignor to the buyer.
CONSIGNOR REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES
The Consignor represents and warrants that:
The Consignor is the lawful owner of the Consigned Items and has full authority to consign and sell them.
The Consigned Items are authentic designer goods and not counterfeit.
The Consigned Items are free from liens, claims, or encumbrances.
The Consigned Items do not violate any trademark, copyright, or intellectual property rights.
All information provided to Reluxify about the items is accurate and complete.
The Consignor agrees to indemnify and hold Reluxify harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or legal costs arising from a breach of these representations.
Reluxify reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel consignments if there is reason to believe an item may be stolen, counterfeit, or otherwise unlawful to sell.
Reluxify may cooperate with law enforcement authorities where appropriate.
CONSIGNOR VERIFICATION
Reluxify reserves the right to request documentation to verify the Consignor’s identity or ownership of consigned items.
This may include government-issued identification, proof of purchase, or other documentation reasonably required to confirm lawful ownership.
Reluxify may decline to list or may remove items if requested documentation is not provided.
AUTHENTICATION
All items submitted to Reluxify will undergo authentication review.
Reluxify may use third-party authentication services including Entrupy and LegitGrails.
If an item cannot be authenticated or is determined to be counterfeit, Reluxify reserves the right to reject the item and will notify the Consignor with supporting documentation.
If the Consignor requests return of a counterfeit item, a $300 CAD penalty fee will apply. This fee covers authentication, labour, processing, and shipping.
If the Consignor declines to pay this fee, the item may be forfeited and destroyed.
Authentication results represent a professional opinion based on available technology and industry expertise and do not constitute a legal guarantee.
PRICING
Reluxify uses its proprietary AI-powered resale assistant ("RAI"), together with market data and condition assessment, to estimate a resale price range.
Reluxify determines the final listing price based on market demand, item condition, and resale performance.
Reluxify retains the right to adjust pricing, include items in promotions, and implement pricing strategies designed to facilitate the sale of the item.
PRICING ADJUSTMENTS AND MARKDOWNS
To maintain competitive market pricing and maximize the likelihood of sale, Reluxify may apply periodic price adjustments.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following markdown schedule may apply.
For items with an initial listing price under $5,000 CAD:
Up to 10 percent reduction after 60 days
Up to 20 percent reduction after 120 days
Up to 30 percent reduction after 180 days or longer
For items with an initial listing price above $10,000 CAD:
Up to 10 percent reduction after 60 days
Up to 15 percent reduction after 120 days
Up to 20 percent reduction after 180 days or longer
Reluxify may include items in seasonal sales or promotional campaigns provided the above limits are respected.
COMMISSION AND NET SALE PROCEEDS
Reluxify earns a commission on each sale according to its commission structure published on the Reluxify website (https://reluxify.ca/pages/commission-guide).
Net Sale Proceeds means the final sale price received from the buyer minus:
Reluxify commission
authentication fees
approved promotional discounts
refunds or chargebacks where applicable
The Consignor will receive the Net Sale Proceeds after these deductions.
Reluxify’s internal transaction records will be used to calculate payouts.
PAYMENT TO CONSIGNOR
Reluxify offers expedited payouts.
Once an item has sold and the buyer’s payment has been successfully processed and verified, Reluxify will issue payment to the Consignor within forty-eight (48) hours.
Payments may be issued by e-transfer, bank transfer, or another agreed payment method.
Reluxify may delay payment if the transaction is flagged for fraud review, payment processing has not cleared, or a buyer dispute is pending.
If a buyer payment is reversed due to chargeback, refund, fraud, or payment dispute after payout has been issued, Reluxify may offset the amount against future consignor payouts or invoice the Consignor for reimbursement.
CONSIGNMENT PERIOD
The minimum consignment period for all items is ninety (90) days from the date the item is received by Reluxify.
The standard consignment term may extend up to twelve (12) months unless otherwise agreed.
EARLY RETRIEVAL
If the Consignor requests return of an item before the expiration of the ninety (90) day minimum consignment period, an early retrieval fee of $150 CAD per item will apply.
This fee covers administrative handling, authentication, photography, listing preparation, and storage costs.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Consignor unless otherwise agreed.
RETURN AFTER MINIMUM CONSIGNMENT PERIOD
After the ninety (90) day minimum consignment period, the Consignor may request return of unsold items without penalty.
The Consignor must provide a prepaid shipping label or pay Reluxify’s return shipping fee.
ABANDONED PROPERTY
If an item remains unsold at the end of the consignment term, Reluxify will make reasonable efforts to contact the Consignor using the contact information on file.
If the Consignor does not respond within ninety (90) days after such notice, the property will be deemed abandoned.
Upon abandonment, Reluxify may donate, liquidate, recycle, or otherwise dispose of the item without further notice or liability.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
The Consignor is responsible for properly packaging items shipped to Reluxify.
Reluxify is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit before they are received.
Shipping labels provided by Reluxify must be used according to instructions.
LOSS OR DAMAGE
Reluxify will exercise reasonable care while items are in its possession.
If an item is lost, stolen, or damaged while in Reluxify’s possession, the item will be treated as sold and the Consignor will receive compensation based on the estimated Net Sale Proceeds of the item.
Reluxify’s liability will not exceed the estimated Net Sale Proceeds of the affected item.
MARKETING RIGHTS
Reluxify may photograph and display images of consigned items for listings, marketing campaigns, advertising, and promotional purposes.
These rights survive termination of the consignment relationship.
FORCE MAJEURE
Reluxify shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control including natural disasters, shipping carrier delays, system outages, or government action.
TAX RESPONSIBILITY
Consignors are responsible for reporting any income received from the sale of their items.
Reluxify is not responsible for any tax obligations of consignors.
GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement, together with Reluxify’s Terms of Service and website policies, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties.
