At Reluxify, you see the economics before you consign. Your quote includes an estimated selling-price range and an estimated payout range, so you know what you could earn before sending us your item. Our commission covers the standard services needed to prepare, market and sell your piece.

How Your Payout Works

Your payout is calculated using two things:

1. The Seller Sale Price.
2. The consignor rate that applies to that price.

The Seller Sale Price is the price of your item after any scheduled markdown or approved price adjustment, but before a separate promotion funded by Reluxify.

For example:

Seller Sale Price: $2,000

Your Rate: 80%

Your Payout: $1,600

Reluxify Commission: $400

Your consignment agreement will show your estimated selling-price range, estimated payout range and the markdown schedule that applies to your item before you ship it to us.

What's Included in Our Commission

Our standard commission covers:

• Authentication.
• Professional product photography and listing.
• Marketing and promotion.
• Payment processing.
• Buyer customer service.
• Sale administration.

We do not deduct these standard operating costs separately from your payout. Any separate fee that could apply to your consignment will be disclosed before you sign your consignment agreement.

Promotions vs. Markdowns

They are different, and they affect your payout differently.

Reluxify-Funded Promotions

If Reluxify runs a site-wide promotion or provides a promotional discount at our expense, your earnings do not change.

For example, your item's Seller Sale Price is $2,000 and your payout is $1,600. If we give the buyer a 10% site-wide promotional discount, you still receive $1,600. The promotional discount comes from Reluxify's margin.

Scheduled Markdowns

A scheduled markdown changes the Seller Sale Price of your item. Because your payout is calculated from the Seller Sale Price, a markdown can reduce your payout.

Your applicable markdown schedule will be disclosed in your consignment agreement before you ship your item. We will not reduce the Seller Sale Price beyond the markdown authority in your agreement without your approval.

If a markdown moves the Seller Sale Price into a different commission tier, the rate for the final Seller Sale Price will apply.

When You Get Paid

We initiate your payout within 48 hours after a Completed Sale. A sale is considered complete once:

1. The buyer's payment has been successfully processed and cleared.
2. The transaction is not under an active fraud or payment-security review.

Bank and payment-provider processing times may vary after we send your payout. Once we have paid you, Reluxify bears the risk of ordinary buyer fraud and payment-processing chargebacks.

You would only be responsible for a later loss if it directly resulted from a material issue on your side, such as a counterfeit item, lack of legal ownership or material misrepresentation of the item.

Before You Consign

90-Day Minimum

Items have a minimum consignment period of 90 days from the date Reluxify receives them. After 90 days, you can request the return of an unsold item without an early retrieval fee. Return shipping is your responsibility.

Early Retrieval

If you request your item back before the end of the 90-day minimum period, a $150 early retrieval fee per item applies. This covers costs already incurred to authenticate, photograph, prepare, list, handle and store your item.

Free Inbound Shipping

Where Reluxify provides your prepaid inbound shipping label, Reluxify takes responsibility for the shipment after the carrier records its first acceptance scan, provided you followed the shipping and packaging instructions. Keep your carrier receipt until we confirm that your item has arrived. Your consignment agreement will show the coverage amount that applies to your item.

Authentication

Standard authentication is included in our commission. If an authentication provider determines that an item is counterfeit, we will provide the available authentication documentation.

You can request a second independent authentication review within seven calendar days. If the second review determines that the item is authentic, no counterfeit fee applies.

If the item is confirmed counterfeit and you request that it be returned, a $300 Counterfeit Authentication and Return Fee applies. The fee covers authentication, additional review, administration, handling and return shipping. It is not charged simply because an authentication result is inconclusive.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if my item sells during a site-wide promotion?

Your payout stays the same if the promotion is funded by Reluxify. Promotions reduce our margin, not your earnings.

Can my estimated payout change?

Yes. Your initial payout range is based on the information and photographs you provide and the expected selling-price range at the time of your quote.

Your payout may change if:

• Our physical inspection finds that the item materially differs from the submitted information.
• The item sells after an authorized markdown.
• The final Seller Sale Price falls into a different commission tier.

If our physical inspection would materially change your initial quote before listing, we will send you the revised terms for approval first.

Do commission rates change after I sign?

Not for an existing consignment unless we both agree to the change. Reluxify may update its commission structure for future consignments. Any new rate will apply only to new consignments after the change takes effect.

Are there hidden authentication or processing fees?

No. Standard authentication, payment processing, listing, marketing and customer service are included in Reluxify's commission.

The only separate charges that may apply are charges specifically disclosed in your consignment agreement, such as an early retrieval fee or a confirmed-counterfeit authentication and return fee.

How are taxes handled?

Applicable sales taxes are charged to the buyer at checkout and do not reduce your consignor earnings or Reluxify's commission. You are responsible for determining whether payments you receive from your consignment create any personal tax reporting obligations.
