These Consignment Terms govern the relationship between Reluxify and individuals who consign items for sale through the Reluxify platform. By submitting an item to Reluxify for sale, you agree to these terms.
If you sign a separate consignment agreement with Reluxify, that agreement will take precedence where applicable.

ABOUT RELUXIFY
Reluxify is a Canadian marketplace for authenticated pre-owned luxury fashion including handbags, shoes, and accessories.
Reluxify provides services including:
• resale pricing estimates using its AI-powered resale assistant (RAI)
• authentication through third-party providers such as Entrupy and LegitGrails
• professional photography and listing
• marketing and promotion through Reluxify’s website and social channels
• facilitating transactions between buyers and sellers
When you consign an item with Reluxify, you appoint Reluxify as your non-exclusive sales agent.
Ownership of the item remains with you until the item is sold. Once sold, ownership transfers directly from the consignor to the buyer.
CONSIGNOR RESPONSIBILITIES
By consigning an item, you confirm that:
• you are the lawful owner of the item
• the item is authentic and not counterfeit
• the item is free of liens or legal claims
• the item does not infringe on any intellectual property rights
• the information you provide about the item is accurate
You agree to indemnify and hold Reluxify harmless from any claims or damages resulting from inaccurate information or breach of these representations.
Reluxify reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel consignments if there is reason to believe an item may be stolen, counterfeit, or otherwise unlawful to sell.
Reluxify may cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate.
CONSIGNOR VERIFICATION
Reluxify may request documentation to verify your identity or ownership of an item. This may include government identification, proof of purchase, or other documentation.
Reluxify may decline to list or may remove items from sale if requested documentation is not provided.
AUTHENTICATION
All items undergo authentication review.
Reluxify may use third-party authentication providers including Entrupy and LegitGrails.
A non-refundable authentication fee of $50 CAD applies per item.
If an item cannot be authenticated or is determined to be counterfeit, Reluxify may reject the item and notify the consignor with supporting documentation.
If the consignor requests the return of a counterfeit item, a $300 CAD penalty fee will apply to cover authentication, labour, processing, and shipping.
If the fee is not paid, the item may be forfeited and destroyed.
Authentication results represent professional opinions based on available technology and expertise and do not constitute a legal guarantee.
PRICING
Reluxify uses its proprietary AI-powered resale assistant (RAI), together with market data and condition assessment, to estimate resale price ranges.
Reluxify determines the final listing price based on market demand, item condition, and resale performance.
Reluxify may adjust pricing or include items in promotions in order to facilitate sale.
MARKDOWN POLICY
To maintain competitive pricing and increase the likelihood of sale, Reluxify may apply periodic price reductions.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following markdown schedule may apply.
Items with an initial listing price under $5,000 CAD:
• up to 10% reduction after 30 days
• up to 20% reduction after 90 days
• up to 30% reduction after 180 days
Items with an initial listing price above $10,000 CAD:
• up to 10% reduction after 60 days
• up to 20% reduction after 120 days
• up to 25% reduction after 180 days
Reluxify may include items in seasonal sales or promotional campaigns provided these limits are respected.
COMMISSION AND PAYOUTS
Reluxify earns a commission on each sale according to its commission structure published on the website:

Net Sale Proceeds means the final sale price received from the buyer minus:
• Reluxify commission
• authentication fees
• approved promotional discounts
• refunds or chargebacks where applicable
The consignor receives the Net Sale Proceeds after these deductions.
Reluxify’s internal transaction records are used to calculate payouts.
PAYMENT TIMELINE
Reluxify offers expedited payouts.
Once an item has sold and the buyer’s payment has been successfully processed and verified, payment will be issued to the consignor within 48 hours.
Payments may be made by e-transfer, bank transfer, or another agreed method.
Payment may be delayed if:
• a transaction is flagged for fraud review
• payment processing has not cleared
• a buyer dispute is pending
If a buyer payment is reversed due to fraud, chargeback, or dispute after payout has been issued, Reluxify may offset the amount against future payouts or invoice the consignor for reimbursement.
CONSIGNMENT PERIOD
The minimum consignment period is 90 days from the date the item is received by Reluxify.
The standard consignment term may extend up to 12 months unless otherwise agreed.
EARLY RETRIEVAL
If you request the return of an item before the 90-day minimum consignment period ends, an early retrieval fee of $150 CAD per item will apply.
This fee covers administrative handling, authentication, photography, listing preparation, and storage.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the consignor unless otherwise agreed.
RETURNS AFTER 90 DAYS
After the 90-day minimum period, consignors may request the return of unsold items without penalty.
The consignor must provide a prepaid shipping label or pay Reluxify’s return shipping fee.
ABANDONED ITEMS
If an item remains unsold at the end of the consignment term, Reluxify will attempt to contact the consignor.
If the consignor does not respond within 90 days after notice, the item will be considered abandoned.
Reluxify may donate, liquidate, recycle, or otherwise dispose of abandoned items without further notice or liability.
SHIPPING
Consignors are responsible for properly packaging items shipped to Reluxify.
Reluxify is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit before they are received.
Shipping labels provided by Reluxify must be used according to instructions.
LOSS OR DAMAGE
Reluxify will exercise reasonable care while items are in its possession.
If an item is lost, stolen, or damaged while in Reluxify’s possession, the item will be treated as sold and the consignor will receive compensation based on the estimated Net Sale Proceeds.
Reluxify’s liability will not exceed the estimated Net Sale Proceeds of the item.
MARKETING RIGHTS
Reluxify may photograph and use images of consigned items for listings, marketing campaigns, advertising, and promotional purposes.
These rights continue after the consignment relationship ends.
FORCE MAJEURE
Reluxify is not liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control including natural disasters, shipping carrier delays, system outages, or government actions.
TAX RESPONSIBILITY
Consignors are responsible for reporting any income received from sales.
Reluxify is not responsible for consignor tax obligations.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada.
Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These terms, together with Reluxify’s Terms of Service and website policies, constitute the entire agreement governing consignments through Reluxify.
